Prior to joining Family Tree, Erika served as the Director of Office Services with Evergreen Private, where she managed the human resources and recruiting departments. Today, she serves as the Executive Director of The Woodlands office with Family Tree Private Care. Erika has a background as a bilingual interpreter for both medical and financial facilities. Erika also worked for the Institute of Culture alongside the agency’s director in her home country of Nicaragua.
Erika is a member of PIMA Medical Institute Advisory Board and Texas Health School Advisory Board. She is motivated by her desire to provide social justice and preserve human rights for the elderly and care providers. Erika is passionate about spreading cultural awareness and does an incredible job equipping her care givers with the tools they need to offer exceptionally high quality of care. Erika holds two masters from the University of Houston, one in International Law (LLM) and another in Energy, Environment and Resources Law (LLM). She is continuing her education to pursue a degree in healthcare law. Erika lives in Houston with her husband and seven children.
