As Family Tree’s Chief Operating Officer, Dionn Jones brings over 20 years of dynamic healthcare leadership expertise spanning multispecialty physician group practice management, disease management, hospice care, and palliative care. With a record for driving positive change in large-scale healthcare operations, Dionn has built a reputation for improving the quality of patient care, leading complex negotiations, guiding successful compliance and accreditation efforts, and efficiently maximizing resource delivery.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Dionn’s military career is marked with multiple awards, commendations, and achievements, including the startup of the Army’s first outpatient surgical center at the Irwin Army Community Hospital in Ft. Riley, Kansas. Following an honorable discharge from the Army, Dionn served as a West Virginia State Trooper, where he served on the state’s first cooperative community policing team and received a nomination for State Trooper of the Year in 1995. In addition, Dionn had the honor and distinction of being the first African American Trooper ever assigned to the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia.
Dionn graduated from West Liberty University with a BA in Business and an MBA from the University of Phoenix in Houston. Outside of his professional life, Dionn is an avid reader and bicyclist who enjoys travel, sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
