Prior to dedicating his career to private care, Daniel practiced corporate law in the Houston office of Baker Botts L.L.P. Daniel was named in the Houston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list of business leaders in 2017. He has served on the board of directors for several organizations, including the Texas Medical Center (TMC) Innovation Institute, the Houston Symphony (Community Partnership Committee), the Houston Law Review Alumni Association, and the Ross M. Lence Foundation. Daniel has served on the Houston Symphony’s Young Associates Council and the advisory boards of Rivet Capital Partners and JAS Inc. In addition to his role with Family Tree, Daniel is also the Co-Founder & CEO of our parent company, Genova Health.
Private care is personal and close to the heart for Daniel, who watched his family struggle as his grandmother relied on nurses and caregivers during her battle with dementia. While in college, Daniel personally served as a caregiver for Ross Lence, a beloved professor and mentor. Daniel received his BBA and JD from the University of Houston. Daniel resides in Houston, Texas with his wife, son and goldendoodle.
