Our history began over 20 years ago with Denver local RNs Karen Buchanan and Shirley Jennett, whose two storied agencies joined forces with Salus Homecare of Denver to form Denver’s premier agency, Family Tree Care. My 89 year old mother who lives in an independent living apartment in a senior community and struggles with Parkinson’s was resistant to having help come into her apartment. She had had a negative experience after she fractured her knee and was quite hesitant. Her Family Tree caregiver experience has changed her perspective completely. Her caregiver is great! She is competent, reliable and friendly and she and my mom have developed a wonderful relationship. That is such a blessing especially during covid when her kids can’t get in to provide love and care. Family Tree is always willing to go the extra mile and are flexible to meet her needs. Family Tree is so easy to work with and very sensitive to the needs of the people they assist. We needed a caregiver to help my mother who was in hospice care at home.
